Head to Health Kids Queensland (H2HK-Q) Gold Coast Service is dedicated to supporting children under 12 years of age and their families who are facing developmental, mental health, behavioural and emotional challenges. We offer a comprehensive range of allied health, medical and peer support services designed to enhance mental wellbeing.
Our mission
Our mission at H2HK-Q Gold Coast is to provide accessible and effective mental health support that enhances the mental wellbeing of children and their families with the greatest need, as part of a collaborative network on the Gold Coast.
Our holistic approach involves working closely with families and collaborating with community providers to offer comprehensive support.
We aim to fill the gap between primary care (General Practitioner) and specialised care (Queensland Health), ensuring children with social, emotional, and developmental needs receive appropriate help. Sometimes this can include finding the right help for parents too. Our services are designed for those whose needs go beyond what primary care can offer but do not require the intensity of specialised treatment.
