Research Forum

Research Forum - 14 August 2024

All staff are invited to attend Gold Coast Health's bi-monthly Research Forum. The purpose of the Research Forum is to provide attendees with an update on research at Gold Coast Health, including the delivery of the Research Strategy 2022 - 2024 and other research initiatives. Research Grand Rounds

Research Grand Rounds - 7 August 2024

Two researchers will deliver a 15-minute presentation on a recently published research paper, followed by 5 minutes of questions.

Researchers, staff and students of all streams are welcome to attend.

Research Topic: Public Health Unit

Date and Time: Wednesday 7 August 2024, 12-1pm. 

Location: Large Lecture Theatre, PED E G 009, Gold Coast University Hospital or online via MS Teams. 

Presentations: 

Fiona May -  Estimating the incidence of COVID-19, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus infection in three regions of Queensland, Australia, winter 2022: findings from a novel longitudinal testing-based sentinel surveillance programme

Light refreshments provided from 12-12:15pm with presentations from 12:15 – 1pm.

Allied Health Research Networking Event

Networking Event - 24 July 2024

The Allied Health Research Team are hosting a Gold Coast Allied Health Research Networking Event on Wednesday, the 24th of July 2024, 4pm to 6pm at PED Building, Gold Coast University Hospital. Explore Collaborations, hear from industry leaders and connect with Allied Health Leaders from Gold Coast Health, Griffith University, Bond University, and Southern Cross University.
