Conference, Training and Event Service

The Conference, Training and Event Service, offers venues within both the Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) and Southport Health Precinct (SHP), as the perfect venue for your next conference.

Some of our venues include a large 244 seat lecture theatre through to small-group 15-seater seminar rooms to really focus on your subject to deliver.

Conference Rooms

Our rooms are equipped with modern facilities to accommodate your conference or event.

Large Lecture Theatre – GCUH

The Large Lecture Theatre is ideal for large events with access to the foyer for registration, tea breaks and catering.

Small Lecture Theatre – GCUH

The Small Lecture Theatre is ideal for large events with access to the foyer for registration, tea breaks and catering.

Ideal for small conferences.

Auditorium 2 – SHP

AV system run through 15 minutes prior to event

Managed event

Technical support for duration of event, depending on staff availability.

Fees included within room hire charges.

Free of charge (refer to room facilities).

Cost: $16.50 per day (4 only)

Cost: $11.00 per day (6 only)

Catering

Event organisers can organise their own catering sourced via a Gold Coast Health approved catering supplier. Please contact the Venue and Events Manger for a list of the approved catering suppliers.

Alternatively, event catering can be arranged in conjunction with the Venue & Events Manager, for a small fee of 15% of the total catering amount.

This includes full liaison service on behalf of the event organiser for event catering with the preferred GCH approved catering supplier.
