Gold Coast Health Social Worker, Kym Tighe, was recently recognised and celebrated for her advocacy in providing high-quality person-centred support to domestic violence presentations across Gold Coast Health, receiving the Domestic Violence Prevention Award at the Domestic Violence Prevention Centre’s annual breakfast.

Kym was recognised for advocating for the safety and well-being of women and children in the local community. She has a strong commitment to engaging in collaborative, non-oppressive work and responses with women, children, and young people on the Gold Coast.
