Medical Imaging service information – Alert

Some Medical Imaging Outpatient requests were delayed due to COVID-19 planned responses. We are currently working through these backlogs. Where your rescheduled imaging appointment times impact your outpatient appointment clinic time, please contact your outpatient clinic. Some referrals will be undertaken with the support of private radiology providers. If this applies to your appointment, you will be contacted directly by both us and the private provider.

Medical imaging

The Medical Imaging Department at both Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services both inpatients and outpatients, within the public and private sector of healthcare. 

Service Include:

  • General Radiography is available 24/7 by on-site staff radiography staff
  • Ultrasound has core hours of 8am-5pm week-days
  • CT scan
  • MRI
  • General Anaesthetic procedures
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Fluoroscopy 
  • Infusion Therapy
  • Interventional Radiology.
