Gold Coast Health services limited on Friday 31 March

A reminder that all Gold Coast Health non-essential services have been postponed again on Friday 31 March, as the region recovers from an extreme weather event.

All patients booked in for elective surgery, oral health and outpatients appointments were being contacted by hospital authorities and new appointments would be made.

Critical services like emergency surgery and our Emergency Departments are operating as normal, but we’d strongly encourage people with non-urgent illnesses not to use the hospitals’ Emergency Departments.

Once again we’d like to thank those dedicated frontline staff who’ve worked extra shifts to ensure our patients are cared for.

The safety of our staff and patients is of paramount importance, so we’d thank the Gold Coast community for their understanding as we’ve taken the decision to postpone non-essential appointments and services.
