Jasmine Unit - Acute Adult Mental Health

Who we are

The Jasmine Unit is a 19-bed acute adult inpatient unit at Robina Hospital for adults who are 25 to 65 years of age experiencing acute mental health conditions that can no longer be safely supported in the community setting.

Our multidisciplinary team includes nurses, psychiatrists, registrars, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, lived experience (peer) and carer peer workers and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers.

What we do

We deliver specialised acute mental health care, including medication management, therapy sessions, family interventions, group programs, and recreational activities.

Our compassionate approach includes partnerships with consumers, carers, and families to ensure a least restrictive, safe, and effective care environment.

The unit aims to take a collaborative approach to support your recovery including strong partnerships with your chosen people, and community services, including government and non-governmental organisations to support transitions between hospital and community-based care.
