Gold Coast University Hospital haemodialysis unit works in partnership with Robina haemodialysis unit.
Gold Coast University Hospital
Provides acute dialysis and plasma exchange for all our dialysis patient population when required. Our unit is in A Block, Level 3. We provide haemodialysis to 12 chronic chairs and 4 acute.
Our aim is to provide high quality and safe care to those with end stage renal disease. This is achieved with skilled staff, patient and family philosophy, patient focused care, encouraging patient participation where able and involvement with our multidisciplinary team.
Robina
The Robina Renal Dialysis Unit is situated on the 2nd floor of Robina Hospital. It has 20 chairs plus 2 self care chairs. In addition there are 2 self care chairs in which the patients are cared for by Home Therapies Unit.
