The Consumer, Carer and Family Participation Team is a lived experience team providing a responsive program of recovery-oriented peer support, education and information for consumers, families and carers.
The team’s goal is to increase consumer, family and carer participation in the planning, delivery and evaluation of mental health services.
Members of the team include:
- Consumer consultant
Promotes and facilitates consumer participation and supervises the consumer peer worker team - Carer consultant
Promotes and facilitates carer and family participation and supervises the carer peer worker team - Peer Recovery Support Workers
Provide non-clinical peer support to consumers - Carer Peer Support Workers
Provide non-clinical peer support to family and carers - Consumer Companions
Provide peer support, interaction and companionship to in-patients - Consumer and Carer Representatives
Represent the voices of consumers and carers
