Our service offers continuity of care by a known Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander midwife and child health nurse from conception to 5 years.
Nurse Navigators are experienced nurses who understand the healthcare system. If you have a chronic disease or complex medical concerns, they can help you navigate your health journey.
Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Hosptial Liaison Officers act as a cultural link between health professionals, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, and their families.
They can help break down communication barriers so that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families can better understand their hospitalisation and treatment.
