Murals and Arts Built-In

built in arts

Murals and permanent artworks are integrated across Gold Coast Health facilities to create uplifting and therapeutic environments. These works are designed with evidence-based principles in mind to reduce stress, humanise clinical environments and reflect the stories, culture and natural environment of the Gold Coast.

The inclusion of murals and built-in artwork supports patient and visitors, as well as contributing to staff wellbeing.

Workshops and Creative Engagement

Worksh

Our art programs extend beyond what’s on the walls and celebrate what people can create together. We support staff, patients and artists to activate creative moments across the hospital. From making space for art at the bedside, to drop-in sessions that offer a pause in a busy day, to collaborative projects that invite staff and patients to contribute. These programs bring colour and meaning into hospital life, helping people feel seen, connected and cared for in a holistic way.
