Silent Art Auction to support the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation

The Gold Coast community has a rare opportunity to own an original artwork by acclaimed semi-realist painter Lucinda Leveille, while directly supporting the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation.

Lucinda, whose work shifts between the vibrancy of watercolour and the depth of oil painting, was named one of Bluethumb’s Top 50 Artists in 2025 and has previously represented the platform at the inaugural Affordable Art Fair in Brisbane.

Her pieces, inspired by journeys, solitude and the natural world, are held in collections worldwide, including Parliament House and The Treasury in Canberra, and have featured on Netflix’s True Spirit and Channel 7’s Dream Home.

Her series for this fundraiser spans her celebrated themes from collections The Road, Exploring the Solitary, Songs of the Sea and Above the Canopy, alongside her newest body of work, The Music of the Night, which captures the drama of the night sky.

True to her philosophy of painting as storytelling, each piece carries a sense of place, memory, and inner journey.

“When I’m painting a landscape, I feel as though I’m really there - walking the road, standing in the grasses, or standing still in the storm,” she said.

Unlike many contemporary artists, Leveille never produces prints. Every piece is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork, making this fundraiser an extraordinary chance for collectors and supporters alike.

All proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation to support local patients and their families in times of need.
