About us
We offer the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community services across our hospitals, various community health centres, residential care facilities, and mobile and outreach teams.
Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Service team provides care, programs and cultural support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples accessing our services.
We work closely with our Gold Coast Health colleagues to provide culturally safe services, clinics, promotion and education.
We aim to close the health equity gap by:
- Creating a welcoming environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their families and carers
- Partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities and organisations
- Building a culturally safe organisation with a culturally capable workforce.
