The Gold Coast Joint Regional Needs Assessment (JRNA) 2024–2026 is a thorough evaluation of health and service needs impacting the Gold Coast population. Developed through a strengthened partnership between Gold Coast Health, Gold Coast Primary Health Network, Kalwun Development Corporation, and the Queensland Ambulance Service – Gold Coast, it supports planning and service development at state and federal levels. This Summary Report includes clear insights, infographics, and agency responsibilities to guide ongoing service development and community planning.

This strategy outlines our approach to transforming Mental Health crisis care across the Gold Coast region. This regional mental health crisis response represents a coordinated and integrated system of care, that is multi-agency and is built around a shared framework that broadly conceptualises crisis in terms of how we prevent, respond, intervene, and care following a crisis, promoting resolution and recovery.
