Last year’s highly successful Research Showcase event is being expanded into a 3-day Gold Coast Health Research Week Conference in 2017, held from the 28th to the 30th of November at Gold Coast University Hospital. The event involves our partners Griffith University, Bond University, Southern Cross University and the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.
The Gold Coast Health Research Week Conference is an opportunity for health researchers to present to a diverse audience, learn from others and grow collaborations. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Towards a healthier Gold Coast’.
Abstract submissions are encouraged from early career, student and clinician researchers. Presentation types will take the form of;
- A full oral presentation with questions.
- A 3 minute lightning talk with a physical poster.
Abstract submissions are due the 25th of August through the online portal. Please consult the Abstract Submission Guidelines.
This is a free event to attend with registrations to open 1 October 2017.
Please save the date and come along, support your colleagues and learn about the high-quality research being conducted across the Gold Coast region!
Any questions on the Research Week Conference and abstract submission can be directed to our Advanced Research Development Officer and Chair of the Research Week Committee, Dr Caitlin Brandenburg.
