Letisha is a passionate advocate for health consumers, committed to ensuring patient voices shape healthcare policies, research, and service delivery.
She currently chairs the Consumer Advisory Group at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service and contributes her expertise to several key committees, including the Gold Coast Health Board Research Committee, Clinical Governance Partnering with Consumers, and Diversity & Inclusion.
Her advocacy extends nationally, serving on the Stroke Foundation Lived Experience Council, the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry Board, and the Queensland Brain Injury Collaborative Consumer Council.
Letisha also plays a vital role in research, participating in co-design initiatives and investigator teams to enhance health outcomes through collaboration and innovation.
