Who we are
The Mental Health Hospital In The Home (MH HITH) service is a multidisciplinary team comprised of clinicians and lived experience (peer) workers that provide home-based care for people over the age of 18, experiencing acute mental illness.
What we do
We provide an alternative to hospital admission by delivering acute inpatient mental health treatment in a home setting, allowing for greater flexibility to meet patient, family and carer needs and preferences. Our service offers care tailored to every patient’s therapeutic goals while maintaining more active family and carer involvement.
