Child and Youth Mental Health Early Psychosis Service

Who we are

The Early Psychosis Service is dedicated to supporting young adults aged 15 to 25 years of age who are navigating their first episode of psychosis. Our team is committed to providing intensive, assertive outreach to minimise the stigma and trauma associated with psychosis.

What we do

We focus on intensive outreach and support, working closely with primary care and other community organisations to offer comprehensive treatment that addresses the unique challenges faced during early psychosis, including the impact of distress/trauma on both the young person and their family.

Who can access this service

Referrals can be made by the CYMHS Access Team (for those under 18 years of age), Acute Care Team (for those 18 years of age and older), or inpatient mental health units.
