Tugun Satellite Hospital

Queensland Health is delivering a new satellite health facility at 57 Boyd Street, Tugun, as one of seven planned facilities across South East Queensland under the $376 million Satellite Hospitals Program.

The new facility will support the Emergency Departments at GCUH and Robina by giving consumers the option to access urgent walk-in health care within their local community through a Minor Injury and Illness Clinic, seven days per week.

As well as the Minor Injuries and Illness Clinic the services to be provided from the Tugun Satellite Hospital will include:

  • Ambulatory and low-acuity day therapy services such as kidney dialysis and day medical services
  • Allied health clinics
  • Antenatal and postnatal outpatient clinics.
