The 2026 Gold Coast Health Research, Innovation and Transformation Showcase will explore how research and innovation drive transformational change. The theme of this year’s Showcase is building solid foundations for future success.
The day will culminate in celebration of excellence with the announcement of the recipients of the 2025 Clinician Researcher Fellowships and annual Research and Transformation recognition awards.

Gold Coast Health Research Innovation and Transformation Awards
Nominate today for a Gold Coast Health Research, Innovation and Transformation Award to recognise and reward excellence in impactful research, innovation, or transformation activity. Nominations close on 12 December, with recipients honoured at the 2026 Gold Coast Health Research, Innovation and Transformation Showcase. View the guidelines and nominate.
The strategic goal of the Gold Coast Health Research Innovation and Transformation Awards is to recognise, reward, and thereby encourage excellence in impactful research, innovation or transformation activity at Gold Coast Health.
Research Award categories are aligned to the Research Roadmap, to stimulate excellence and reflect national research directions, such as the increasing focus on service and translation activities. The awards support a growing research culture at Gold Coast Health and are an opportunity to identify what we value in research.
The Health System Transformation Award aligns with our Strategic Plan 2024-2028 (G28) objective to drive future-focused change. This award fosters a culture of transformation and innovation at Gold Coast Health.
