Gold Coast Health’s General Practice Liaison Unit is dedicated to improving communication between the hospital and general practice and developing new approaches to optimise the care of our mutual patients.
The GP Liaison Unit seeks to support you through representing the interests of General Practice at Gold Coast Health and provides a suite of resources including:

- Refer Your Patient website
- Secure Transfer Service Address Book
- Optimised discharge summary format
- Access to the Health Provider Portal

The GP Advice Service, 1300 00 4242, is available from 8am to 4pm weekdays, to assist with access to non-urgent specialist outpatient advice or general service enquiries.
Urgent specialist advice is available via the GP Only Switchboard on 07 5687 0003.
