Newborn and Infant drop-in clinics (0 – 12 months) Paediatric
Useful Management Information
- The drop-in clinics are a way to monitor a baby’s progress between routine clinic appointments when parents/carers may require short periods of support.
- Drop-in clinics are available at various locations across the Gold Coast. No appointments are required (see website for the various locations and times).
- Parents/carers should bring their child’s Personal Health Record/Redbook to the drop-in clinic; the Nurse can then record any measurements taken or advice given.
- Nurses can offer guidance and reassurance to parents, supporting infant feeding, sleep and settling and any other common parenting concerns.
- Follow-up appointments can be arranged for further assessment and support, and for any future key age child health and development checks.
- It is preferred that you register with the service before attending the Newborn drop-in clinic on (07) 5687 9183
