The voluntary assisted dying education module is available for all healthcare workers outside of Queensland Health.

Voluntary assisted dying will be available to eligible Queenslanders, in less than one month on 1 January 2023.
The voluntary assisted dying education module is available for all healthcare workers outside of Queensland Health.
The education module takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and covers:
- voluntary assisted dying in context
- an overview of the voluntary assisted dying process in Queensland
- healthcare worker participation in voluntary assisted dying (including roles, responsibilities and obligations)
- optional resources for further learning.
It is important that you are ready to respond to queries and understand your rights and obligations as a healthcare worker.
