Queensland Health contact women regarding use of pelvic mesh
There have been complications with pelvic mesh procedures performed in Queensland between May 2001 and August 2021.

Queensland Health is again contacting women to advise of potential complications of pelvic mesh.
Several class actions against manufacturers of pelvic mesh are underway and women may want to understand if they have had effected pelvic mesh implanted.
Many women will not know if they have mesh implanted which could result in increased concern.
